GT Energy is appointed by Stok-on-Trent City Council to carry out a geothermal feasibility study.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council took part in a LEP bid to City Deal Wave 2 securing funding to complete an outline business case for a city wide District Heating Network and enabling private sector investments in low carbon heat sources.  Deep geothermal energy was identified as one of the sources that could be developed to delivery indigenous heat to the district heating network.  Stoke-on-Trent City Council has appointed GT Energy UK Ltd. in collaboration with Erdwerk GmbH to complete a Geothermal Feasibility Assessment as part of LOT 3 - Geothermal Feasibility  to support the completion of the Outline Business Case.
